Elegant tee with saddle shoulder construction – knitted seamlessly top-down with mohair and merino held together

The Carlie Tee is a classic tee with a saddle shoulder construction that is fun to knit and flattering to wear. It is worked seamlessly from the top down: it begins with a doubled ribbed neck, followed by smooth stockinette stitch with short rows and increases that raise the back neckline and form the saddle shoulder lines. The shaping continues down to the armholes, where sleeve and body stitches are divided. The short sleeves and the body finish with deep ribbed edges.

The tee is knitted with 2 strands held together – 1 strand of Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair (lace, 225 m / 25 g) for the soft halo and 1 strand of a fingering yarn: your choice of KFO Merino, Cotton Merino or Pure Silk (all 250 m / 50 g). The top is worn at hip length with positive ease (approx. 4–12 cm). The sample in the pattern is size M in Soft Silk Mohair and Merino, both in the colour Soft Blue.
