Terms and Conditions – BONIFAKTUR Monthly Prize Draws
BONIFAKTUR runs two independent monthly prize draws, each awarding a discount code worth €50: A) the monthly newsletter draw and B) the project draw (“Share your project”). The two draws are separate; one person may enter both and win both.
§ 1 Organiser

§ 2 General conditions of entry
Entry is open to natural persons who have reached the age of 18. Employees of BONIFAKTUR and their relatives are excluded from participation. Entry is free of charge and not conditional on any purchase.
§ 3 Entry – A) Monthly newsletter draw
Entry is automatic through an active newsletter subscription. An active subscription means a confirmed registration (double opt-in) for the BONIFAKTUR newsletter. No separate registration is required. Anyone who unsubscribes from the newsletter will no longer take part in future draws from the time of unsubscribing.
§ 4 Determining the winner – A)
The draw takes place at the end of each calendar month by random selection from all newsletter subscribers active at the time of the draw.
§ 5 Entry – B) Project draw
Anyone may enter by submitting their own photo of a knitting project via the form at bonifaktur.de/pages/teile-dein-projekt, actively ticking the box “Yes, I would like to enter the prize draw” and providing an email address. One entry is awarded per submission; several submissions therefore result in several entries. Participation in the draw is independent of whether the submitted photo is later published on the website. The rights to publication of the photo are governed by the separate consent given at upload.
§ 6 Determining the winner – B)
The draw takes place on the 1st of each calendar month by random selection from all submissions received in the previous month.
§ 7 Prize
One discount code worth €50 (fifty euros) is drawn per draw and per month, redeemable in the online shop at bonifaktur.de. The discount code cannot be combined with other promotions, is not transferable and cannot be paid out in cash. It is valid for 6 months from the date it is issued to the winner.
§ 8 Notification and publication
The winner will be notified by email (for A, to the address held with the newsletter subscription; for B, to the email address given with the submission); the discount code will be sent in that email. The winner’s first name may be published in the next issue of the BONIFAKTUR Monatsnews (newsletter) and, where applicable, on the social media channels. By entering, the participant agrees to the publication of their first name.
§ 9 Data protection
For the monthly newsletter draw (A), the data collected as part of the newsletter subscription (email address and, where applicable, name) is used exclusively to send the newsletter and to run the draw. For the project draw (B), the email address provided for entry to the draw is used exclusively to notify the winner — no newsletter, no marketing — is stored together with the submission and is deleted on request (email to info@bonifaktur.de). No data is passed on to third parties. The BONIFAKTUR privacy policy applies: bonifaktur.de/policies/privacy-policy.
§ 10 Exclusion of liability
Recourse to the courts is excluded. BONIFAKTUR reserves the right to amend, suspend or end the draws at any time without giving reasons. This applies in particular where proper execution cannot be guaranteed for technical or legal reasons.
§ 11 Applicable law
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.
§ 12 Miscellaneous
These draws are in no way connected with, endorsed by or organised by any social media platform. Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
