Terms and Conditions for the Instagram Giveaway
Terms and Conditions – BONIFAKTUR Instagram giveaway “Summer is sock season”
By entering this giveaway on Instagram (@bonifaktur), the participant agrees to the following terms and conditions.
§ 1 Organiser

(hereinafter “BONIFAKTUR” or the “Organiser”)
§ 2 Conditions of entry
Entry is open to natural persons resident within the European Union who have reached the age of 18 and who have an Instagram account that is public or otherwise visible to the Organiser. Employees of BONIFAKTUR and their relatives are excluded from participation. Entry is free of charge and not conditional on any purchase.
§ 3 Entry and the task
To enter, all of the following steps must be completed within the entry period (§ 4) under the relevant giveaway post on the Instagram account @bonifaktur:
- follow the Instagram account @bonifaktur;
- comment under the giveaway post naming the three sock yarns you would like to win – the three yarns named must come from the current range at bonifaktur.de and each be from a different quality (that is, three different yarn qualities, not the same yarn three times);
- tag at least one other person in the comment.
One entry per person is permitted. Comments that do not fully meet the requirements (e.g. fewer than three yarns, yarns from the same quality, yarns outside the range, or no other person tagged) will not take part in the draw.
§ 4 Entry period
The entry period begins with the publication of the giveaway post on 28/06/2026 and ends on 12/07/2026 at 23:59 (CEST). The time the comment is received by Instagram is decisive. Comments submitted after the end of the entry period will not be considered.
§ 5 Prize
A total of three prizes will be drawn. Each of the three winners receives three balls of sock yarn – the three yarns named in their comment (each from a different quality), subject to availability at the time of dispatch. If a chosen yarn is no longer available, BONIFAKTUR will agree an equivalent sock yarn from the range with the winner. The prize is shipped free of charge within the EU to the delivery address provided by the winner. The prize is not transferable and cannot be paid out in cash; it cannot be combined with other promotions.
§ 6 Determining and notifying the winners
The three winners will be determined after the end of the entry period by random selection from all valid entries. The winners will be notified by BONIFAKTUR via Instagram (by direct message and/or a reply to the comment) within seven days of the draw. A response is required in order to provide the delivery address. If a person drawn does not respond within seven days of notification, the claim to the prize lapses and a replacement winner may be drawn.
§ 7 Data protection
The data required to run the giveaway (Instagram profile and, in the event of a win, the delivery address provided for sending the prize) is used exclusively to administer the giveaway, is not passed on to third parties – with the exception of the logistics provider commissioned with dispatch – and is deleted after the giveaway has ended, unless statutory retention obligations apply. The BONIFAKTUR privacy policy applies in addition: bonifaktur.de/policies/privacy-policy. Please note: when using Instagram, the privacy policies of Instagram and Meta also apply.
§ 8 Liability and early termination
Recourse to the courts is excluded. BONIFAKTUR reserves the right to amend, suspend or end the giveaway at any time without giving reasons, in particular where proper execution cannot be guaranteed for technical or legal reasons.
§ 9 Note regarding Instagram / Meta
This giveaway is in no way connected with Instagram or Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. and is in no way sponsored, endorsed or organised by Instagram or Meta. The contact and sole party responsible for the giveaway is the Organiser (§ 1). All questions, comments or complaints regarding the giveaway are to be addressed to BONIFAKTUR and not to Instagram.
§ 10 Applicable law and severability clause
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
