Fine Bamboo Sock combines 60% fine Australian merino wool (22 micron, mulesing-free), 25% bamboo viscose and 15% polyamide into a 4-ply sock yarn with real character. The bamboo viscose takes up the dye more lightly than the wool – the result is a lively, subtly heathered play of colour with a delicate shimmer that shows especially in the darker shades. Hand-dyed by Franziska Uhl in her studio – in the unmistakable Atelier Franziska Uhl colours you recognise at first glance.

With 400 m per 100 g in fingering weight, Fine Bamboo Sock is ideal for elegant knits: shawls with drape, socks for the warmer months, light summer tops or baby garments. The bamboo fibre provides breathability and a cooling feel, the merino softness and elasticity, the polyamide the necessary durability. Wound knot-free, superwash at 40 °C, made in the EU.
