Fine Merino Single is 100% finest Merino wool, single-ply spun and hand-dyed by Franziska Uhl in her atelier in Germany. The single-ply structure gives the yarn a special softness and a flowing drape that plied yarns cannot achieve. The colors appear more intense and vibrant on the single-ply surface – each shade unfolds a depth that is typical of the Atelier Franziska Uhl signature.

With 366 m per 100 g in fingering weight, Fine Merino Single is ideal for shawls, stoles and sweaters that look as if cast from a single piece. Singles yarns knit best with a blunt needle tip and a loose, even stitch. Approx. 70 colors in changing collections – from “September in Istrien" to “Bretagne Côtes-d'Armor" – inspired by Franziska's travels and always dyed exclusively for BONIFAKTUR.
