La Bien Aimée CASHMERINO

Merino wool with cashmere – and enough twist that it still holds up.

Cashmerino is the luxurious side of La Bien Aimée: merino, cashmere and a small share of polyamide, hand-dyed in Paris. The cashmere adds a soft, slightly fluffy aura that only fully unfolds after blocking – while the tightly plied strand holds the yarn firmly together and draws a crisp, even stitch definition. The hand-dyed shades, from calm semi-solids and tonals to multicolored variegated colorways, come out especially precisely on this structure.

As a light fingering yarn, Cashmerino is suited to shawls, fine sweaters and cardigans – to everything you wear directly on the skin. It keeps you warm without adding bulk, and thanks to the superwash treatment and the polyamide share it is more everyday-friendly than a cashmere blend might suggest. Whether a light shawl for summer or a sweater to wear under your coat: this is knitting for the long run.
