Light summer top with a graphic two-colour pattern – knitted bottom-up with I-cord edges

The Lima Top is a light summer top knitted in two colours in a simple, graphic pattern. The body is worked bottom-up in the round, stitches are bound off at the underarms for the armholes, and front and back are finished separately in rows. Stitches are picked up along the neckline and both armholes before the edges are bound off with an I-cord. The colour pattern is worked from the chart.

The top is knitted with 1 strand per colour – your choice of Knitting for Olive Cotton Merino, Merino or Pure Silk. All three yarns are fingering weight (250 m / 50 g) and are worked on 3 mm needles. The sample in the pattern is knitted in Pure Silk in Putty (main colour) and Bark (contrast colour); the cover photo shows Cotton Merino in Wheat (main colour) and Elephant Blue (contrast colour).
